About Windmill Networks, Inc.
Windmill Networks is a network management focused startup. It was founded in April of 2007 with the goal of providing network managers with tools to improve how their network management system operated. Our first product is the Windmill Integration Manager (WIM) which integrates the major network management systems.
Fred Gray CTO and Acting CEO
Fred is a co-founder, CTO, and acting CEO of Windmill Networks. Windmill Networks is developing software to lower the network cost of ownership for medium and large enterprises. Prior to starting Windmill Networks, Fred spent the last ten years at Cisco Systems. He specialized in operational and network management issues for strategic enterprise and service providers. This work developed a strong view into the needs of network operations and deployment staff. Fred has been directly involved in designing, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting large networks for the past eighteen years.
Bill BoswellVice President of Engineering
Bill is a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering. He brings over 20 years of software development experience to Windmill. For the 15 years prior to starting Windmill, he managed engineering teams at ABB Network Management and Sensus Metering, focusing on highly available, mission critical systems for the utility industry.
Taylor BrockmanSoftware Architect
Taylor started his career in 1998 developing an ANSI C and Perl internet full text search application for Intertect Networks. There he helped raise funding and develop the core product line. As a wireless industry developer at Pinpoint Networks, Inc., Taylor designed the flagship mobile content software solution, Fuel; for WAP authentication, billing, and content provisioning. In 2004, he assisted in the technical transition in the Power by Hand merger, on-boarded 4 web e-commerce technologies and managed the engineering and operations team for each. Taylor worked as Java and Ruby software engineer at Motricity, Incorporated, in the media and entertainment division. The division delivered mobile e-commerce storefronts for music brands such as MTV, BET, Universal and Warner Music Groups.
Eron NicholsonNetwork Architect
Eron is a Network Engineer with nine years of hands on experience. He worked for Cable & Wireless USA/Savvis, Incorporated from 1999 - 2004 as an Internet Engineer. He was responsible for 2nd-Level support of the Tier1 AS3561 Network utilizing Juniper, Cisco, Marconi and Foundry equipment. At Motricity he worked as the Team Lead of Network Engineering. His responsibilities included designing and building data center networks for the company's mobile commerce storefronts. In addition to network responsibilities, he has been involved in building and maintaining Network Management Applications to support NOCs and Operations Teams for ISP and ASP environments.
